Gökyüzü: Turkish Roots and the Pleasure of Gathering Around the Table
Gökyüzü’s story began on Green Lanes in 1999. Today, the restaurant group has six London locations, but its original Harringay address remains the starting point for a business built around Turkish food and Mediterranean hospitality.
At Green Lanes, mixed grills, freshly baked bread and meze form the foundations of the dining experience. It is a combination that encourages guests to explore different flavours together, making the restaurant a natural choice for family meals and gatherings with friends.
The setting balances traditional warmth with contemporary design. Teal upholstered seating, stone-textured walls and patterned pendant lights give the dining rooms a distinctive character, while a variety of seating arrangements accommodates both smaller tables and larger groups.

Expansion has taken Gökyüzü to Park Royal, Kentish Town, Walthamstow, Finchley and Chingford. Yet its identity remains connected to the food and hospitality that shaped the first restaurant.
For diners discovering Green Lanes’ Turkish food scene, Gökyüzü offers an established address with a clear focus: grills, bread, meze and the shared pleasure of a meal around one table.
