Myleene Klass turned heads in London on Monday as she posed in an extravagant blue ballgown at the Royal Albert Hall, just as her former Hear’Say bandmates addressed her decision not to participate in their upcoming reunion tour.
The 48-year-old singer, musician and television presenter wore a dramatic one-shoulder tulle creation with an ombré effect and an oversized flowing skirt.
Photographs showed her posing on the floor of the historic London venue, where she was preparing to host Classic FM Live.
Meanwhile, the remaining four members of Hear’Say appeared on ITV’s This Morning to discuss their forthcoming joint tour with Liberty X.
The contrasting appearances drew attention to Klass’s increasingly busy career outside the pop group that first made her famous.
A Dramatic Fashion Moment at Royal Albert Hall
Klass embraced theatrical glamour for her appearance at the Royal Albert Hall.
Her striking blue gown featured layers of voluminous tulle, creating a sweeping silhouette that spread across the venue’s floor.
The one-shoulder design added a contemporary element to the otherwise classic ballgown shape.
The outfit was particularly fitting for the grandeur of the Royal Albert Hall, one of London’s most recognisable performance venues.
Klass was preparing to co-host Classic FM Live alongside television presenter Dan Walker.
The evening’s programme featured the Philharmonia Orchestra, conducted by Stephen Bell, with special guest Aled Jones.
Inspired by the theme of space, the concert included well-known classical compositions such as Gustav Holst’s The Planets and Richard Strauss’s Also sprach Zarathustra.
For Klass, the event represented another opportunity to combine her musical background with her established broadcasting career.
Hear’Say Bandmates Speak About Her Absence
While Klass prepared for her classical music engagement, her former bandmates appeared on This Morning alongside Liberty X.
Kym Marsh, Suzanne Shaw, Noel Sullivan and Danny Foster discussed their excitement about returning to the stage for a 25th-anniversary celebration.
They also acknowledged that Klass would not be joining them.
Marsh described her absence as disappointing but explained that the timing was not right for the presenter.
She emphasised that the remaining performers were grateful for the opportunity to reunite and wanted to make the most of it.
The comments reflected a practical approach to organising a tour involving nine performers, each with their own professional and family responsibilities.
Rather than presenting Klass’s decision as a personal dispute, the group publicly acknowledged her existing commitments.
Why Myleene Klass Is Not Joining the Reunion
Klass previously discussed the reunion during an appearance on ITV’s Loose Women.
She confirmed that her former bandmates had included her in conversations about the proposed shows.
However, she explained that her current schedule would not allow her to make the necessary commitment.
The presenter said she remained busy with television, radio and other professional responsibilities.
She also spoke warmly about her time in Hear’Say and the importance of the group in her career.
Although she will not participate in the announced tour, Klass has not completely ruled out the possibility of revisiting the group’s music in the future.
Her comments suggest that her absence is primarily a scheduling decision rather than a definitive rejection of her musical past.
Hear’Say and Liberty X Announce a Major 2027 Tour
The reunion will bring together two of Britain’s most recognisable early-2000s pop groups.
Hear’Say and Liberty X were both formed through the ITV talent programme Popstars, which aired in 2001.
Hear’Say’s original lineup consisted of Myleene Klass, Kym Marsh, Suzanne Shaw, Noel Sullivan and Danny Foster.
The group enjoyed immediate chart success with its debut single, Pure and Simple, which reached number one in the United Kingdom.
Liberty X was formed by five contestants who had not been selected for Hear’Say.
Its members — Michelle Heaton, Jessica Taylor, Kelli Young, Kevin Simm and Tony Lundon — went on to establish their own successful pop career.
Their biggest hits included Just a Little, one of the defining British pop songs of the early 2000s.
The upcoming tour will see four Hear’Say members perform alongside all five original Liberty X members.
