MiMi Mei Fair: Chinese Culinary Tradition Behind a Mayfair Townhouse Door
Behind its Curzon Street frontage, MiMi Mei Fair unfolds through a collection of richly decorated rooms, bringing the intimacy of a Mayfair townhouse to Chinese dining. The restaurant’s imaginative world centres on the fictional Empress MiMi, whose travels provide a narrative thread connecting the interiors and the food.
The menu draws inspiration from Hong Kong, Singapore and mainland China. Apple wood-fired Peking duck is a signature, served with handmade pancakes and traditional accompaniments. Wasabi prawns and Hunan-style crispy Atlantic seabass offer further expressions of a kitchen that explores contrasting textures, regional influences and bold flavours.

Guests can choose Ă la carte, discover tasting menus designed for sharing or visit for a dim sum brunch. Lunch and early dinner menus provide another introduction to the restaurant.
The setting is equally individual. Patterned fabrics, framed artwork and layered colours give each room its own character, while spaces including The Library and The Peacock Room accommodate private gatherings.
For a celebration or an evening with friends, MiMi Mei Fair offers a distinctive combination: Chinese culinary traditions, expressive design and the sense of discovering a different room with every visit.
